I have been blogging about the use of apps in therapy since the original iPad was released. I currently have my personal blog were I discuss apps and their use in therapy, Speaking of Apps which is a weekly blog that includes app reviews, iPad accessories reviews, and ideas, as well as TherapyApp411.com which is a group blog (run by SLPs) dedicated to app reviews and therapeutic uses. I recently co-presented at CASANA 2012 on Apps for Apraxia and other special needs. I strive to think out side of the box when presenting and offer my attendees new ways to use apps and other tips and tricks. I can offer specialized focus on language apps, articulation/phonology/apraxia apps, AAC apps, and many more. If you are interested in having me talk at your event please e-mail me!
Hi there! I recently found your blog and website and I LOVE it! You haveso many great resources and ideas! You are a wonderful asset to our field with your generosity and sharing. Thank you so much. I have a blog/website myself that focuses on sharing ideas and resources for supporting social langauge skills. I am an elementary school-based SLP who works in the Minneapolis area, mostly with students on the autism spectrum, emotional/behavioral needs, etc. I would be so appreciative if you would consider checking out my site and linking it to your resource list or blogroll. I do not sell products, or charge anything at all – It is merely a website to share resources with fellow SLPs and educators. Thank you so much for all your great resources! Hello, I had iGotYa on my device(3gs on 4.3.3) and was hanivg unrelated issues with the jailbreak. I decided to re-jailbreak, however as I understand it, and seemingly the case in my situation. iGotYa will not let me do a hard reset or enter DFU mode. Realizing this may be the problem, I uninstalled the application from cydia and tried to continue, however I am still unable to hard reset or enter DFU. Is it possible that a script is left over from the application? I have been searching through the device files using iFile, though with no luck so far.Any response is much appreciated,mr.maps
